BEGINNING

I got my first dog, Finnish Lapphund Hetta (Ukonkallion Hetta) in 1985. In 1988 we found out that Hetta had PRA in her eyes. Scared of this we got in the end of the year 'Tuisku' (Finnish Lapphund Gisur) to accompany Hetta. When at the age of eight Hetta's eyes eventually blinded. Tuisku became supporter, security and spare eyes for her.

When Hetta retired, I went to agility, and other competitions and even rescuedog rehearsals with Tuisku. As an enthusiastic devotee I was along with many dog happenings and camps.These two Hetta and Tuisku took a big part of my live and they will stay in my heart forever...

1991 I passed basic course for breeders and applied kennelname Bearvvis for Finnish Lapphunds.1992 we got Finnish Lapphund boy called 'Nalle' (Iresa Erämaankulkija) and 1993 Finnish Lapphund girl called 'Tsikka' (Jahkkas Elysee).

I had been dreaming a long time about Alaskan Malamutes and 1994 we got 'Sikri' (Mukluk Sikrinerk). Sikri stole our hearts and we had our first Malamute litter in 1999. With us from it stayed 'Ahtena', who was from the start the 'mama's girl'.

From here our small-scale work with the breeding continues …
